Description
Aster novae-angliae 'Vibrant Dome' is a mildew resistant sport of 'Purple Dome'; 12"-18"; winter hardiness zone 3-8; deer resistant; late blooming energy source for migrating monarchs; plug.

A terrific goup of plants that form mounds of lovely green foliage, which gets covered with colorful daisy-like flowers in the fall.  Just when you think the garden is over, this group of plants pop into blooom and provide color until a hard freeze.  (Note:  Cutting back about 1/2 the stem height by July 4th will help keep them from growing too tall and flopping over when in bloom).
