Description

Its shape and size makes it look very much like a yellow fall crocus but it is far from it.  Being a member of the Amaryllis family makes it pest proof, but it does prefer well-drained soil and a mostly sunny location; has winter leaves so will do best planted with a southern exposure and an evergreen frost canopy; blooms in the fall and may take a season or two to get acclimated. 6"-10"; mid fall;    whz 7-9; 10/12 cm; nursery propogated; imported.
