Lovely yellow lupine-like flowers that, although native to the mountains of North Carolina, seem to tolerate the Piedmont and Coastal regions as well; prefers partial shade and a well-drained site; best to cut back foliage about a month after flowering; 30"-48"; whz 3-9; not available until mid-April.
